Small Family Wedding Among the Vines

One of my favourite little Niagara hideouts for some time now is the Good Earth Winery in Beamsville. Its small, intimate, and has the cutest little patio around. When Jackie first came to me, she wanted something that was inspired by the venue itself, and the atmosphere at the Good Earth. Honestly, the most perfect little ceremony and reception with the closest friends and family...Jackie and Elliot's beautiful day was captured by Sara Lynn Paige.

Congrats to these two!

Historial Berkeley Church Wedding

Ever so often, I head out of Niagara for some lovely wedding set ups elsewhere. This past April, I headed to Toronto...I first met with Brenna and her maid of honour last summer at a cute Parisan-inspired cafe near the downtown core. I loved the simplistic and clean style that Brenna had in mind for the day of...Everything from the invitations to the seating cards were carefully planned out. After a few more meetings with Brenna and Gareth, the big day finally arrived. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the historical Berkeley Church, on Queen Street East.

Congratualtions to these two!!

Studio Visit

The other week, I had the chance to welcome one of the talented ladies behind Vineyard Bride, Nataschia Wielink. In addition to being one the blogger and curators on Niagara's go-to wedding site, Nataschia is also a super talented photographer (You can check out her website here). I was so grateful to have her come and spend some time in my little studio world...Ironically enough, I was working on a bridal bouquet for the next day--a wedding Nataschia shot! (Those gorgeous images are coming soon! Stay tuned for those!)

In case you missed the full write up that was featured on the Vineyard Bride website, you can see that here

Here is a little snapshot into my studio space and the behind the scenes...

Early Spring Wedding at Pillar and Post

And so here it goes!! Wedding season 2016 is officially in full swing!!

To start the busy season off, we are completely in love with this little wedding at the Pillar and Post from last month. Tara and Rick were married in the Rose Garden, with an intimate dinner reception to follow in the Old Library. Afterglow Images documented their day and we are so pleased with the way things turned out!

Enjoy the first of many more spring weddings to come!

A Seaside Editorial

I guess I will always be an artist at heart.

Everyday, in some little way, do I experience a creative process. But working on bringing a team together to help me bring my ideas to life, now that became a whole other ball game. A few months ago, I had a thought about wanting to create something that was true to me and my personal style. Literally steps from my studio door, did the private beach along the lake scream at me to become a backdrop for a styled shoot. My own little piece of tranquility needed to be shared.

Enter in so many talented artists...With different styles, personalities, and passions. So many talented vendors came together to create such a beautiful shoot that I am so humbled to share with you, and also that was chosen to be published by 100 Layer cake

To see this come full circle... It has been an experience I will always remember.
